David Weaver dedicated more than 40 years of his life to the field of toxicology, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, integrity, and service that continues to inspire those who knew him.
A Vietnam veteran, David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Microbiology from Oklahoma State University in 1974 before completing his Medical Technology internship at Hillcrest Medical Center in 1976. Throughout his career, he played an instrumental role in advancing laboratory toxicology.
In 1986, David helped establish the Toxicology Department at City of Faith Hospital, where he served as Toxicology Supervisor. Four years later, he became co-owner of one of the Tulsa area's first independent laboratories dedicated to drugs of abuse testing. His passion for excellence and commitment to the industry ultimately led him and his wife, Pam, to establish Weaver Drug Testing Lab in 2006, creating a business built on quality, professionalism, and exceptional service.
David passed away in March 2024, but his influence remains woven into the foundation of this company. His dedication to science, his commitment to helping others, and his willingness to share his expertise shaped countless careers and lives.
Today, Weaver Drug Testing Lab proudly continues the work David began, honoring his vision and carrying forward the values he instilled. His legacy lives on in every client served, every test performed, and every person who benefits from the standards of excellence he helped establish.
